Kung Fu Panda

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it is called the "present."

look for the message....

Ok so its not a Christian movie, not even remotely close! BUT I was so impressed with the messages that were presented in this movie! The star, (Will Smith) presents as a family man who believes in God and whose family prays right from the beginning. As the movie progresses our star becomes a little ego-centered that it is HIS responsibilty to find the cure for this disease. At some point his faith is tested again when he loses his dog. Along comes a woman who "hears" God and knows that there is a destiny for herself and our star. In the end, said star realizes that he loss of faith is a temporary setback leading him into more disaster, he proceeds to get back on track and, of course by listen to God, he saves the world. God is presented as "light" in this movie on several occations, thus tying in the words we know best..."I am the light of the world, whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life." (John 8:12)
